Field Inspection Applications
Deadlines:
MAY 15 - Small Grains - Barley, Oats, Wheat and Rye
JUNE 15 - Alfalfa, Cool Season Grasses, Sudangrass, Hybrid Sorghum, Peas and Onions
JULY 15 - All Cotton, Peppers and Peanuts
AUGUST 15 - Beans, Corn, Broomcorn, Sorghum, Millets, Soybeans, Warm Season Grasses, and other crops
Field Inspection Fees
A. Minimum inspection fee is $20.00 per application.
B. Variety fee is $10.00 each.
C. Field fee is $2.00 for each additional field of the same variety.
D. Acreage fees vary with the crop:
Alfalfa, clover, open-pollinated corn, cotton, grasses, millet, sainfoin, small grains, sorghum, broomcorn and sudangrass are $1.50 per acre.
Beans, peas, cowpeas, soybeans, forbs, Guayule, okra, onion,peanut, and chile are $2.50 per acre.
Hybrids (cotton, sorghum, small grains, corn) are $2.00 per acre.
Trees, shrubs, native and woody plants are $20.00 plus mileage and per diem.
